“Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I’d like you to take a minute
Just sit right there;
While I tell you how I became a designer in the past years.
In Venice, Florida born and raised; 1988
In the art room was where I spent most of my days
Chillin’ out sketchin’ relaxin’ all cool
And shootin’ some pictures outside of school
When a couple of guys
Who were up to all good
Started talkin’ bout college; a great art school
I sent in one little paper and my mom got scared
She said ‘Pack up your things; you’re going to IADT my dear!’ …”
Currently, I am attending the International Academy of Design and Technology pursuing a BFA in graphic design. I heard about Artistik Envy through a friend who was talking me into it. Finally, it clicked and I decided to go to the screening. Little did I know, I would be chosen to be in the “Top 10″. I am starting to see the benefits of being in this competition, and actually happy to be apart of something like this. I am also hoping my design skills and my conceptual thinking will improve throughout this competition.

Hey Kristi,
I liked how you really worked on your presentation skills, and I think you did much better than last week.
I also thought that you could have left a little more space for the text on the side, but overall, the theme and the use of the photos in the glasses were nicely thought out.
Good Luck =)
